個性的な食べ物アイテムを食べまくって経験値を獲得し、主人公をレベルアップさせよう。
かわいいペットをお供にできる「ペット」システムも健在。
『ZWEI II』ではネコ・イヌ以外にも色々な生物をペットにできるらしい！？
■プロローグ
──紅い翼が蒼穹を駆け抜けていた。
愛機《トリスタン号》を駆る若きトレジャーハンター・ラグナは、
ハンター協会からの運搬依頼で、浮遊島《イルバード》を目指していた。
運搬物は、イルバードの博物館に返却される、貴重な展示品数点。
つまりは体のいい使いっ走りだったが、ラグナは未だ訪れたことのない、
数多の遺跡が点在するというこの島を訪ねることに軽い興奮を覚えていた。
しかし到着直前、突如現れた二匹の翼竜が《トリスタン号》を襲う。
ネコのような魔人、そしてフードをかぶった謎の少女が操る翼竜たちと
激しいドッグファイトを繰り広げながら、何とか撃退しようとするラグナ。
しかし優位に立ちながらも、思わぬ不意を付かれて愛機を撃墜されてしまう。
どこまでも広がる大空が、淡い夕暮れに染まる中、
翼を切り裂かれ、浮遊島の一角へと落ちていく《トリスタン号》……
その様子を、黒水晶の谷間から眺める者がいた。
薄紫色の髪をなびかせ、黒衣のドレスに身を包んだ可憐な娘。
底知れぬ輝きを秘めた深紅の瞳が、遠くの丘から上る一条の煙を捉えている。
「……やれやれ。期待させておいてあの程度か。
まあいい、この目で確かめてみるとしようぞ。
あの間抜けな翼乗りの青年が我が下僕にふさわしいかを、な。」
そして──
深い夕闇の中、娘は目を閉じ、背中にある漆黒の翼を大きく広げた。
■登場キャラクター
●ラグナ・バレンタイン （CV：野島健児）
本作の主人公。
愛機《トリスタン号》で旅する若きトレジャーハンター。
直情的で向こう見ずだが、面倒見がよくお人よしな所もある青年。
墜落して瀕死の重傷を負ったところをアルウェンに助けられ、
その借りを返すため、彼女が自分の城を取り戻すことに協力する。
飛行機への情熱から《飛行機狂（エアロマニアック）》と呼ばれることも。
「たかが魔物ごときにこのラグナ様の操縦テクが負けてたまるかってんだ！」
●アルウェン （CV:ゆかな）
本作のヒロイン。
最高位の魔族である吸血鬼一族の姫君で、ムーンブリア城の主。
誇り高いが決して狭量ではなく、大らかかつ寛大な性格の持ち主で、
瀕死のラグナを救うため《血の契約》を彼と結び、以後行動を共にする。
強大な魔力の持ち主だが、今はその力の大半を奪われてしまっている。
長い間、城の中だけで暮らしていたことから、少々世間知らずなところも。
「そなたの命を救いし代価、これより我が僕として存分に支払ってもらうぞ。」

I have been through all stages of grief on this game, and the only thing that keeps me going is the one round I go 20-1 against crippled ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ just to get bodied the round after. I then proceed to uninstall the game, scroll through Instagram reels and see R6 gameplay and download it again. I will be repeating this infinite loop until I break my PC or shoot my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ brains out playing this game. The only thing keeping me away from this game is employment. 10/10 would recommend.

a game i couldn't excel in but one of the games i found most joy playing when i was a kid, even now grown up i still cant reach a certain skill level to get past a certain rank i wished to achieve.
